Expect light rain today, says Met

As many as 31 trees were found to have been uprooted and 11 cave-ins reported between Monday night and Tuesday evening in Ahmedabad. 

Till 4 pm on Tuesday, city had received 11.13 mm rainfall. With this, the city has received an average rainfall of 163.83 mm this season. 

According to the data provided by the control room of the civic body, 124 incidents of waterlogging were reported on Monday night. It had also received complaints of 11 buildings which were rickety from all the zones. Eleven roads were found to have been resettled in the meantime, including the newly constructed road at Mansi Circle. 

For Wednesday, the Met has forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of light rain. The maximum temperature is expected to remain around 32 degree Celsius and minimum around 26 degree Celsius. 

On Tuesday, maximum temperature was recorded one degree below average mark and it settled at 34.3 degree Celsius, while minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degree Celsius, one degree above normal. For easy flow of water, one gate of Vasna barrage was kept open up to two feet-level.
