He began his career as a cricketer, representing St. Mark's Senior Secondary Public School during his school days. But a major injury shattered his dreams of pursuing cricket as a career.

In 2003, Karan Wahi was selected for the Under-19 cricket team for Delhi alongside Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan. And ever since the two have been best buddies.
