MUMBAI: Raj Kurup, executive creative director, Grey Worldwide, has decided to quit. Recently, it was announced that Kurup had been named one of the key members of the newly created regional creative council (for APAC).

Kurup confirmed the development to DNA Money; however, he declined to talk about his future plans.

Says Kurup: “Grey was an exciting journey for me. I am thankful to partner Vikram (Gaekwad) and a great team of boys and girls for sharing my passion for creative excellence. There are bigger challenges that I am looking forward to. I am examining some interesting prospects for the road ahead. I will talk about my next destination as and when I take a call.”

Jishnu Sen senior vice-president, Grey Worldwide, Mumbai, says, “It’s a shame to see Raj go. In a short span of two months, I had come to value Raj’s partnership - and I will miss him and so will all of us.”

Nirvik Singh, president, South East Asia, Grey Global Group, said: “Raj has nurtured some great creative talent in his stint over the three years in Grey Mumbai. I’m obviously disappointed to see him go but we wish him the very best.”
