Embassy provides food, shelter to stranded Russian nationals

Stranded foreign nationals in India are facing difficulties after country went under nationwide lockdown. Russian Nationals received help from their embassy as the coronavirus mayhem hit the country. The embassy provided food and shelter to these Russians. A Russian national told ANI, “Only embassy was aware about the situation. They helped us. They took us and care about us. We don’t have any place to stay in Delhi. Only embassy can help us.” Another Russian national shared that his condition was good as the Russian embassy was taking care of them. He informed that they don’t have any difficulty and they’re only waiting for a flight to home in Russia. Several foreign countries are carrying out special missions to evacuate their citizens from India after the country went under 21-days nationwide lockdown.
