Breaking her silence, Priti Choksi, wife of diamantaire Mehul Choksi involved in the mega PNB scam, recently questioned the disappearance of Choksi's rumoured girlfriend Barbara Jarabica and slammed the authorities of Antigua and Dominica for their handling of the case.
However, with no trace of Jarabica and no reports about her whereabouts, the mystery surrounding her is getting deeper.

According to Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne, Choksi went to the neighbouring country of Dominica via a yacht for his alleged girlfriend Babara Jarabica, to have dinner or spend a 'good time' and was caught there. After Mehul's capture, his girlfriend Babara Jarabica is also missing.
2. Barbara Jarabica is not affiliated with the London School of Economics

According to Caribbean media, Babara Jarabica is a property investment consultant and has studied at the London School of Economics. However, it is now learned that Barbara is neither Mehul's girlfriend nor does she have any relation with the London School of Economics. Several reports claim that Barbara is a member of the same team that caught Mehul in the Dominican Republic.

According to a report in WION, when the London School of Economics was called to inquire about Barbara Jarabica, they denied having any such alumnus. This claim, earlier, was being made based on her LinkedIn profile, but as soon as the London School of Economics theory surfaced in media reports, that information was deleted.

Speaking to WION about Barbara, Priti Choksi said, "She claims to be someone that works on the house renovation and she would come down to Antigua 2 or 3 times--she came in August, in April and now in May" and that "she has never met her".
