FIFA WORLD CUP 2014
The final whistle for the full time sounds and Mexico have won a tough game 1-0. They were short-changed by poor umpiring in the first half but came back via a timely goal from Peralta. They held most of the possession and also showed more discipline in the second half.
90 + 2' Hernandez misses as he blazes over the goal from close range
90' Header from Moukandjo is met with a diving stop by the Mexico keeper Ochoa, that was close
88' Cameroon are desperate for a late equaliser here, they keep Mexico to their penalty area, but the game is slipping away
86' Almost a goal! Moukandjo is released into the right side of the right side of the Mexico area and hits a powerful ball into the danger area towards Eto'o, but Rodriguez crucially intercepts it.
84' Giovani curls a cross into the centre and Hernandez almost gets his head to it, but Cameroon manage to make the save
82' Mexico grab possession again, Hernandez cuts a pass for Fabian and Mexico are back playing an aggressive game
80' Cameroon win a corner down the left flank, but can make nothing of it.
79' Pierre Achille Webo is substituted for Alex Song
77' Dany Nounkeu gets a yellow card. That was a ridiculous tackle from him, takes out Fabiab very casually on Mexico's left wing
74' Hernandez has fallen hugely out of favour over the last year, but he gets a chance now
74' Javier Hernandez gets substituted for Peralta
65' Samuel Eto'o seeks medical attention. He seemed to collide with Marquez, but he looks fine
63' That was well deserved for Mexico, after having two goals disallowed earlier.
61' O Peralta gets the first goal for Mexico. Peralta starts the brilliant team move from a deep position and after Giovani breakls into the area, Peralta pounces on the rebound to break the deadlock.
54' Hector Moreno gets a yellow card
52' Mexico have been much more disciplined in the second half.
50' Song lunges wildly and catches Giovani on the shin, taking him down. Song is lucky to escape a booking.

48' Another let-off for Cameroon. Peralta produced a dangerous run to charge on to Giovani's flicked pass, but he could only fire straight at Itandje.
Substitution: Dany Nounkeu for Cedric Djeugoue
The second half is about to get underway, with both teams at 0-0.
HALF-TIME Mexico have generally been the better side and they will be bitterly disappointed not to take a lead into the break, but that has as much to do with the officials. Giovani has had two goals harshly disallowed. Cameroon will have to seriously improve their game in the second half.
45' Mexico have been denied a penalty. A clumsy tackle by Chedjou on Giovani is not considered for a penalty, only for a corner.
43' Mexico are back controlling most of the possession. They quickly work the ball forward towards the attack but get stopped by Herrara.
39' M'Bia dashes into the side of Guardado, crashing his forearm into his face, and very nearly gets a yellow card.
37' Mexico's dominance of possession has slipped a little in the last 10 minutes or so, with Cameroon seeing a lot more of the ball in the midfield.
The rain is continuing to power down in Natal
30' Another goal disallowed. Choupo-Moting flicked on a Mexico corner and Giovani nodded the ball in at the far post, but once again the assistant raises his flag for offside. However, replays clearly show the Villarreal man was in a legal position.
24' Choupo-Moting knocks a header back in towards the goal, but his effort hit a team-mate and the defenders eventually cleared after a bit of a scramble.
22' Great chance for Eto'o! Assou-Ekotto produced a lung-busting run down the left flank, evading the challenges of two Mexicans before cutting an accurate low cross. Eto'o met the delivery with a scuffed first-time effort which narrowly went wide.
20' Vazquez gets penalised for a high-boot in the centre circle, but no card from the referee
18' Great tackle by Moreno to stop Samuel Eto'o attack towards the Mexican penalty area
15' The officials are not doing Cameroon any favours, but out of nowhere, M'Bia wins a corner down the right for the team
Mexico have been aggressive but their delivery has been poor
12' Offside! Mexico thought they'd taken the lead. Aguilar fires in a teasing cross from the right and Giovani coolly smashes a volley past Itandje, but it is ruled out for offside. Replays suggest it was a harsh decision. Giovani is not happy at all
10' Cameroon are really struggling for possession at the moment
9' Mexico are already forcing the Cameroon defence into errors
Cameroon's gameplan already appears rather obvious as both Enoh and M'Bia have produced forceful tackles in the middle.
The whistle has sounded and the match is underway.
Wilmar Roldan is the referee for the match
Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez has, as expected, not been included in Herrera's starting line-up
The national anthems are now over, it's time for the match.
Given the format of the group stage, this match is crucial for both teams.
The national anthems are now underway.
The two teams are out to the middle for the national anthem

The lineup for the Mexico-Cameroon match, which begins at 9:30 pm IST, has been announced.
Team lineup for Mexico v/s Cameroon
Not only did Cameroon have to overcome another African World Cup giant in the form of Tunisia to make the cut for the 2014 World Cup finals, they also had to settle what their coach called 'primary school squabbles' within the ranks too. The team boasts a superstar in four-time African player of the year Samuel Eto'o and the brooding goal-king had claimed there was a plot to isolate him by starving him of passes in the first leg of their play-off, a 0-0 draw in Tunis.

Once the giant of the CONCACAF zone, Mexico had to settle for fourth place in the final group of six and squeezed into the World Cup finals through the play offs. They proceeded to smash New Zealand out of the way 5-1 in Wellington and 4-2 at home under the guidance of a new coach, Miguel "Piojo" (the flea) Herrera, their fourth coach of the qualifying campaign.
