Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal's wife Ayesha Siddiqui at first rejected the cricketer's proposal according to reports, at the age of 16. She went to Malaysia to complete her studies, while Iqbal continued playing for Bangladesh, although she eventually developed feelings for him and after a relationship of 8 years, they finally got married to each other in 2013, at Chittagong. Currently, they are parents to two boys. 

The wife of Shakib Al Hasan, Umme Ahmed Shishir is a model by profession. She studied software engineering, and was living in USA, before shifting to UK for further studies and there she met Shakib who was playing county cricket at the time. They eventually began dating and got married to each other in 2012. Shakib and Unme have two children together. 

Liton Das got engaged to his wife Devasri Biswas Sanchita last year in April and they later got married to each other in July. As per reports, Devasri Biswas narrowly escaped a major accident in March 2020, after a cylinder blasted in her house in Dhaka. While she had endured some major wounds, the situation could have been much worse. 

The love story of Mushfiqur Rahim and his wife Jannatul Kifayet is an interesting tale. Jannatul Kifayet is the sister-in-law of Bangladeshi cricketer Mahmadullah Riyad. Mushfiqur met her at Mahmadullah's wedding and the pair started dating. They dated for two years and later decided to get married in September 2014. They have a baby boy together. 

Speaking of Mahmadullah Riyad, the Bangladeshi all-rounder got married to his long-time friend Jannatul Kawsar Mishti in June 2011. They have two children together, and as mentioned before, Jannatul Kawsar Mishti is the sister of Mushfiqur Rahim’s wife Jannatul Kifayet.
