The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the squad for T20I series against South Africa. Where all-rounder Hardik Pandya finds a spot in the 15-man squad, MS Dhoni has been overlooked for the series.
Dhoni had made himself unavailable for the West Indies tour and Pandya also missed the series due to injury. However, the 25-year-old is set to make a return in the team.
The Virat Kohli-led team will be hosting South Africa for a three-match T20I series next month.
Not just Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are also not part of the team.
