Their efforts propelled Bangladesh to a fighting total of 265 for 8 in their allotted 50 overs. On the Indian side, Shardul Thakur displayed his bowling prowess by taking three wickets. It is worth mentioning that captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first.
