Rohit finally signals to Kedar to stay calm and keep batting. But the right-hander seems to have lost his bearings and is just swinging his bat without connecting with much.

Team India physio Patrick Farhart is out in the middle. Kedar has his pad off and is on the floor getting treatment. He had a hamstring injury earlier in the year that forced him to miss the IPL. Hope it's not too serious. India desperately need him to carry on right now.

The left-arm quick bowls four dot balls to Dhoni first up. This is getting really frustrating now. MSD has to figure out a way to rotate strike. It must surely be building pressure on Kedar at the other end, too.

What a shot from MS Dhoni! He steps out and absolutely bludgeons the ball straight back. That indeed raced to the fence like a tracer bullet.

Rohit drove it straight back and set off, just like DK did from the other end. But both batsmen realised midway that the run isn't on. They went back and forth but managed to come back to their own ends on time. Phew!

Skipper Masgrafe Mortaza brings himself into the attack and strikes in his first over.

The right-arm medium-pacer angles the ball in towards Rayudu, but it pitches and straightens. Rayudu goes for an awkward push and the ball takes the outside edge. No problem for keeper Mushfiqur Rahim in pouching that one.

A quick over from Islam, just the two singles came from it.

The left-arm spinner is keeping it stump-to-stump.

Ambati Rayudu has joined skipper Rohit Sharma out in the middle.

The match is moving along at a rollicking pace.

Rohit's been extremely patient while batting in the tournament. The target isn't much and he would want to be there till the end.

A couple of quick wickets here and India will be in trouble. Can't get complacent.

This time Islam bowls down the leg to Dhawan. The left-hander paddle-sweeps it for four.

Bangladesh have struck against the run of play!

Dhawan gets greedy and tries to loft it over mid-off but the ball goes straight to the fielder. A soft dismissal. Dhawan must be kicking himself as he walks back to the pavilion for 15 off 14.

Rohit gets another one on his pads, this time from Rahman. The stylish right-hander flicks it past mid-wicket for two. At ease!

Rahman comes back well again, gets one to jag back in and hit Rohit's pads. But the ball had pitched outside leg and the umpire says not-out.

Let's not forget, Rohit tends to struggle against left-arm seamers who come from over the wicket and bring the ball back in to right-handers. Remember Mohammad Amir?

Dhawan, meanwhile, has found his groove quickly once again. The ball is pitched full and wide, Dhawan leans in and smashes it past covers for four. A superb on-the-rise stroke.

Poor, poor bowling from Hasan. The offie sends a half-tracker down leg, Rohit accepts the gift gleefully and pulls it between short-fine and square-leg for four.

It's looking all too easy from Hasan's end at the moment.

The Fizz - Mustafizur Rahman - takes the new ball at the other end.

The left-arm speedster comes from over the wicket and angles it in towards Dhawan's pads, the left-hander flicks it hard past square-leg and picks up a couple.

Fizz comes back well and wraps Dhawan on the pads with a sharp delivery. The Bangladeshis go up in appeal but the height on the ball saves Dhawan.

The first ball is angled on the pads and Rohit dabs it towards square-leg for a single.

Shikhar Dhawan gets on strike, the first ball to him is short and wide. The left-hander leans back and pierces the gap between point and extra-cover for four.

Hasan is struggling to grip the ball. Bangladesh have reaped rich dividends in the tournament by using Hasan with the new ball.

Hasan drifts on to Rohit's pads again, gets clipped for four past short-fine. That looked like a gentle push that would never race away to the fence. But it did. It had Rohit's sublime touch.

A sensational yorker from Jasprit Bumrah sees Rubel Hossain's stumps get rattled.

Bangladesh added 120 runs for the first wicket but just 122 more for the next nine. They must surely be bitterly disappointed.

But the job is only half done for India. It's a final and there are runs on the board. Rohit and Co cannot be complacent at this point.

The ball was tossed up and beat Das in flight. The batsman's back leg dragged out a bit, Dhoni collected the ball and rattled the stumps in a flash.

The third umpire took ages to make his decision. It was touch and go as Das did drag his foot back. But the umpire reckoned it wasn't in time.

Das walks back for 121 off 117. Take a bow! Could prove to be a match-winning knock in a big final.

Another tidy over from Bumrah. Rohit's brought on the right-arm quick in search of wickets. There seems to be one around the corner as the batsmen look edgy out in the middle.

Kedar bowls a near underarm delivery, Liton attempts a cut but the ball goes under his bat. Can't help but chuckle at such cricket.

Kedar has taken two wickets and given away 31 runs in his eight overs so far.

Bumrah brought back into the attack. Bowls a couple of good away-moving deliveries from around the wicket to beat left-handed Sarkar's bat.

Could've been the second maiden over of the innings but Bumrah drifted on to Sarkar's pads and got clipped for a couple.

Kedar continues bowling his spell. There's not much in his bowling, at least not much that can be spotted from the naked eye, but the batsmen clearly tend to struggle against him.

The left-hander played the ball towards square-leg and set off but Das sent him back. The throw came in quickly but Dhoni failed to gather it and Sarkar sneaked back in. Perhaps, MSD shouldn't try to pad the ball on to the stump so often.
