Now, in another explosive interview, Somy has revealed that her overall experience in Bollywood has been bad, considering some directors tried to have sex with her and she was in an abusive relationship.

Stating that she had a pretty overall bad experience in Bollywood when asked if she wanted to make a comeback, Somy told Zoom, "No. I did not have an interest then nor do I have any now. I was a complete misfit there."

In an earlier interview wtih Zoom TV, Somy Ali had revealed that it was due to her Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani broke up. The couple was all set to tie the knot. Somy revealed, "I used to see Salman and Sangeeta (Bijlani) together at his house, holding hands. It used to kill me. I was this obsessed teenager out to marry Salman somehow. We started dating after a year. They broke up due to me. It was wrong, but I was too young to realize that."

In an old interview to a website, years after her break up with Salman Khan, Somy Ali had named Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the woman with whom Salman cheated on her, an India Today report stated. However, without playing the blame game, Ali had said, "Neither. They both did what they felt and believed was the right thing to do at that point in time. I don’t like to hold grudges. It will only affect my growth as a person."

“After I broke up with my ex in 1999 December, there was no reason for me to stay back in India. Additionally, I wanted to finish my education as I had dropped out of ninth grade to move to Mumbai. So heading back home to Miami was the logical thing to do,” Somy had said in a statement.

During a video interview with Peeping Moon, Somy shockingly revealed that she has been a victim of it herself. Somy said she was sexually abused at the age of 5, 9, and again at the age of 14. Opening up about getting raped, Somy said, "The first time I was sexually abused in Pakistan, I was 5 years old. There were 3 incidents in the servant's quarters. I told my mum and dad, actions were taken. But what my parents told me is that 'Beta yeh kisiko batana nahi'. In my head, I lived with that for years. I thought, 'Did I do something wrong? Why was I told by my parents?' Pakistan and Indian cultures are very image-based. They were protecting me but I didn't understand it. Again there was an incident at 9, then again at 14."
Somy Ali further added, "Three years ago, I started speaking out. Even though I was running this non-profit organisation for 14 years, I found myself hypocritical for not being able to speak up."
