A new federation was formed just before the last Olympics. Then we got new rules, new boys &new trials. The outcome of all these changes is Amit Panghal and Manish Kaushik. We used to win bronze and this was our sixth medal in the World Championship. Like Amit wanted to replicate his seniors’s success, his juniors would want to do what he did. He may have not won gold, but he had switched from his earlier weight category of 49kg and was contesting in 52kg. After Vijender (Singh), we now have two or three big names in Indian boxing.
