No respite from hot conditions in Delhi

Delhiites got no respite from searing hot conditions for another day today with the mercury touching a high of 37.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal for this time of the season.
    
Today's maximum was 0.7 degrees less than yesterday's 38.2 degrees Celsius, while minimum declined by 0.8 degrees to touch 22.3 degrees, which is also five notches above normal.
    
The maximum humidity touched 70% while the lowest humidity was recorded at 17%.

The Met office predicted no relief for Delhiites tomorrow and said the mercury would oscillate between 21 and 38 degrees.
    
The all time record for maximum temperature in the month of March was recorded on the 31st of 1945 when the mercury touched 40.1 degrees Celsius.
