IED blast near LoC leaves jawan injured

Police said ultras had planted two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDS) near a forward defence location (FDL) in Kanga Nallah area.

An army jawan was injured in an IED blast triggered by suspected militants near Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Police said ultras had planted two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDS) near a forward defence location (FDL) in Kanga Nallah area.
 
Though no one was injured in the first blast at 0930 hours, the explosion at 1100 hours left jawan Daleep Kumar injured. He was hospitalised.

The IEDs were triggered through remote control, police said.
