Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Tubelight' fails to light up on Eid!

Salman Khan's latest Eid offering failed to take off on the festive occasion as the collections on Monday did not live up to the expectations. The Kabir Khan directorial had managed to cross Rs 62 crore over the weekend and it was expected to witness a huge rise in its collections on Monday as the majority of the Muslim populations was expected to throng to the theatres. 

But that did not happen. Though, the movie managed to rake in about Rs 18.50 crore on Monday, which is a decent figure for a weekday business, the movie saw a decline in it's collections when compared to the previous days, especially, it being a national holiday. 

Had Tubelight managed to go past the normal trend of Eid collections, then the film's total would have been over Rs 130 crore for the week, but going by the current situation, that seems unlikely to happen. The total collections of Tubelight in the first four days is approx Rs 81.25 crore. 

Lets wait and watch how the film performs over the next few weekdays.
