Renowned Television actor Sameer Sharma is no more. The actor was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling of his home in Neha CHS building, situated at Ahinsa Marg in Malad West. Mumbai Police are suspecting the actor died by suicide two days ago.

"A case of accidental death has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy," senior inspector George Fernandez, Malad police station said during a media statement.

Sameer Sharma, last remembered for his role in 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', has been part of some renowned TV serials like 'Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi', 'Left Right Left', 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii', 'Four' and 'Ssshhhh....Koi Hai'. He was also seen in Sidharth Malhotra's movies 'Hasee Toh Phasee' and 'Ittefaq'.

The TV-movie actor, whose case resembles Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, had given an opinion back when doctors had claimed that SSR had biplar disease. Sameer explained why they need to be treated like normal people, and also said that he would go and give a hug to a person going through depression, bipolar disorder or scrisophenia.

Here's his detailed post:

Sameer Sharma had taken to Instagram to talk about the bipolar disorder. He started by mentioning, "And on a slightly different topic. And yeah it's a bit of a read but have patience and read it. It demands your time."

2. Do you understand biploar disorder, depression or schizophrenia?

He questioned, "When the devil stops screaming. I'm talking about Mental health. And am talking about it because the doctors have finally confirmed that Sushant was suffering from bipolar disorder. Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Schizophrenia etc. do you know or understand what that means or feels like?"

Sameer added, "No you don't, unless you've been through it yourself. And anybody who hasn't, will never ever be able to understand what that feels like. Depression is a very lonely disease and a highly misunderstood one. Because it's not cancer, or diabetes or any other medical condition which can be physically diagnosed."

3. 'It is lonely'

Describing the state of mind, Sameer mentioned, "And it is lonely because you're surrounded by people who have no idea what you're going through. And who infact admonish you when you try to reach out. You are weak. you have no will power. You're a psycho. come on get up and shake it off, be a man."

He also stated, "We'll let me tell you something you macho people, that man is more a man than you can ever hope to be. Do you understand the meaning of taking your own life? Don't imagine it, actually try and do it and I swear to God you'll piss in your pants. That man who has taken his own life, it's not the easy way out as most of you think it is."

Asking people to not assume a depressed person who took his/her/its own life is a cowrd, Sharma said, "He has fought so hard, faced so much pain, that taking his own life is the only way out for him. And that takes balls of steel. So let's not for a second even assume that he was a coward. And I'm not speaking only about Sushant here. But why does he do it?"

He said that the devil doesn't stop screaming. "Not because of any social or financial or any other pressure. He does it because the devil just doesn't stop screaming, a scream which causes a pain so unbearable yet completely inexplicable," he mentioned.

Stating he would go and hug a depressed person, Sameer added, "If you met two people, one suffering from cancer and the other from depression, you'll feel sorry for the cancer patient, but I'll go and hug the one suffering from depression, because nobody understands his pain because we still don't understand what mental health issues can do to you and not only do we fail to help them, we still scorn at them as if their malady is of their own bringing or creation."

5. 'Enable him, love him, make him feel normal'

Explaining that depression is impossible to explain, Sameer said, "That's why I said that depression is the most lonely disease, because it's impossible to explain what you're going ys through and even if you try nobody will understand."

He spoke about clogged up, unsorted emotions and added, "But it's not a lost cause, medication coupled with therapy can vastly improve one's condition. But it has to be done regularly and diligently. And the family and friends have only one thing to do, give love, unconditional love no matter how the person behaves, because it's not him doing it, it's the chemical imbalance and years of clogged up, unsorted emotions."

Asking people to make such a person feel normal, Sharma had said, "Stop this prejudice against going to a psychiatrist, give him love and a hug once in a while, and make him feel proud of the fight he's fighting, even though he has to do it alone, stand behind him incase he falls. I guarantee you, he has more will power than you can imagine. Enable him, love him, make him feel normal until the devil stops screaming."

6. 'Ignore the ignorant'

Sameer concluded writing, "And last but most importantly don't be in denial, if you suspect or if someone close to you suggests, go see a specialist. You would if you had cancer right. A disease is a disease whether mental or physical and it demands medical attention. Ignore the ignorant, it's your life not theirs."
