Among the Bollywood and television stars who descended upon Ayodhya for the grand Ram Mandir consecration event on Monday morning, were Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee who are popularly known for playing the role of Lord Ram and Sita in TV show Ramayana. The couple shared the photos and penned a heartwarming note after they visited Ayodhya.

Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee took to their Instagram and shared some pictures from their visit to Ayodhya to witness Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha's ceremony. The couple were seen twinning in green. While Debina wore a green printed saree, Gurmeet wore a green kurta pajama with a printed jacket.

Talking about their visit to Ayodhya to seek blessings and witness the historic moment, Gurmeet told India Today, “Our 10th anniversary surely called for something special and to visit Ram Mandir was one of the most apt ways to celebrate our love. We really could not think of a better way to do so. We wanted to come and personally donate towards the temple. It was a beautiful experience to visit the auspicious Ayodhya mandir and take blessings from Lord Ram and Sita. The love and happiness we received was immensely overwhelming.”
