Apple's new heart rate features have approval from the US Food and Drug Administration. The company says it is hoping to bring them to other countries around the world.

The Apple Watch will also send users notification if their heart rate is too low. The Apple Watch's heart rate sensor can now detect atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that leads to irregular beating of the heart.

The Series 4 includes an S4 chip inside.
