Making health your ultimate wealth

With the focus on paving the way to the good life, dna organised the Health & Wellness Show

Making health your ultimate wealth

Over the last weekend (April 18–19), the entrance area at the ground level of Inorbit Mall, Malad, was transformed into a dynamic arena for those seeking better health. The dna Health & Wellness Show, 2015, aimed at providing head-to-toe solutions with stalls for hair care, weight loss, foot care and other healthcare brands offering their services to suburban visitors.
The exhibition boasted of eight premium participants across a range of products and services from exercise to beautification and even Ayurveda. “I am glad I made the choice to visit this exhibition today,” reveals Sushma Sharma, a resident of Juhu, “A friend of mine had told me about Ayushakti and coincidentally, I came across the stall here. Their pain-relieving balms are said to be excellent and since it is Ayurvedic, I am less wary of trying it as opposed to other forms of medication,” she shares as she takes her free sample of joint pain cream. All participating brands also gave on-the-spot discounts and offers, exclusively available at the dna Health & Wellness Show.
Up for grabs at the Richfeel Health & Beauty stall was a free consultation by their team doctor followed by a lab testing of the hair sample, the results of which would determine the appropriate treatment. “The two most common hair problems faced by people are hair fall and hair thinning,” shares Hammad Ansari, Business Development Executive, Richfeel, “An in-depth analysis of their condition at our lab helps us understand the problem and address the issue at the root.”
Some of the other brands offering their products and services included Mickey Mehta’s 360* Wellness Temple with a special ‘Grow Taller Program’ for kids to avail of during the summer holidays, Prettislim Clinic’s body shaping services and skincare brand Tvacha.
“The open air layout was a good idea. I spotted those shoes from the first floor and came to check it out,” shares Orlem resident Ingrid D’Souza as she stood at the stall that garnered most attention: Diabetes/Orthopedic Comfort Footwear by Medifeet. The exhibition was prominent and visitors across the mall flocked to have a look. All in all, the dna Health & Wellness Show proved to be the perfect one-stop shop for healthy, holistic living.

The dna Health & Wellness Show witnessed its second edition this year.
