Death of birds at Sambhar Lake due to Avian Botulism: Apex Centre for Animal Disease
After the postmortem of birds that were mysteriously found dead at Sambhar Lake, Professor from Apex Centre for Animal Disease, AK Katariya said, “Symptom of paralyses in wings suggests death of birds could be due to Avian Botulism.”The area around the Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan turned into a graveyard for over a thousand birds including migratory birds on November 12.
