Prime Minister Narendra Modi had led the BJP to its maiden majority in the Lok Sabha in 2014 general election, and his government and the party have now stepped up their outreach in the run up to the next polls scheduled for 2019.
In these four years, the Centre, under Modi’s leadership, took several landmark decisions, which brought about a paradigm shift in governance. From the introduction of GST to demonetization, each move has been highly talked about, receiving both appreciation and criticism.
