Kerala Floods: Helpline numbers and how you can help those stranded in God's Own Country

Although the NDRF, the Army and the Navy have done all what they can to help those in need, there are still thousands still stranded in various districts in Kerala.

A NDRF rescue team rescues a family that was stranded during the floods in Kerala. Although the death toll suggests that at least 67 people may have died due to the rains, the damage that the weather has brought onto the state has been irreversible. Earlier this week, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj offered to compensate those who had lost their passports during the floods, but now with the problem getting out of hand, people from various parts of the country have started donating to help the people of the state. - NDRF/Twitter

Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared their concern over the situation in Kerala. Both of them have tweeted to India to help and donate generously to help the people of the state recover from this ordeal.
