In an interview with Mirror Online, Tony Kakkar revealed that Neha has always been super excited for her birthday. “In all these years, one thing has not changed and that is Neha’s excitement for her own birthday. Like a little kid, she still waits for presents and as her birthday nears, she asks us to keep an eye on couriers and parcels so that nothing is missed. Neha is the most excited to unwrap the gifts and eagerly waits to see what is inside,” Tony said.

Tony’s revelation has been proved right by Neha herself. On the eve of her birthday, Neha shared a set of photos, dripping excitement for her birthday. “It’s My Birthday Tomorrow! Tony also disclosed that the ‘O Saki Saki’ singer was extremely fond of dolls as kid. “Even though it was not a good idea but sometimes we used to bribe her with dolls so that she studies or practices singing,” he said.
4. Neha Kakkar sang bhajans from a very young age

Neha Kakkar had started singing at religious events since a very young age. “People used to be mesmerised with her soulful voice. She was a complete performer even at the age of four,” Tony said. He added that going to amusement parks was the most thrilling thing for the siblings - Tony, Neha and their elder sister Sonu Kakkar.

As per Tony, Sonu and him moved to Mumbai before Neha and struggled to make ends meet and pay rent. He said Neha used to send them money from Rishikesh. “For the very first recording, Sonu got Rs 500. The amount then kept on increasing steadily and somehow we managed to survive,” he said.

In 2006, at the age of 18, Neha auditioned for the second season of ‘Indian Idol’ and a decade later she was a judge for the same reality show, hence, life came full circle for the talented singer. Neha Kakkar married punjabi music singer, Rohanpreet Singh in Delhi amid the coronavirus pandemic in October 2020. It was an intimate ceremony, with only close friends and family attending the wedding in gurudwara. Before their real wedding, Neha and Rohanpreet also came up with a wedding video. The clip was called #NehuDaVyah, which was one of the hashtags for their real-life wedding too.
