Virat Kohli scored his 39th century in one-day internationals in the second ODI against Australia. This was Virat's 24th century while chasing a total in ODIs.While Virat Kohli reached his 39th ODI century in 210 innings, it took Sachin Tendulkar 350 innings to score his 39th hundred.

1. Kohli loves January 15

It seems Virat Kohli loves Janaury 15. It is the third straight year when he has scored a century on this date. In 2017, he hit first ODI century of year on January 15. This was Virat Kohli's 64th international century. He is now third in list of most international centuries after Sachin Tendulkar (100) and Ricky Ponting (71). With Tuesday's century, he went past Kumar Sangakkara (63). (Image: Reuters)
3. Second most overseas centuries in ODIs

4. 11th highest run scorer in ODIs

During the innings, Virat Kohli became the 11th highest run-scorer in ODI cricket history. He went past Tilakratne Dilashan of Sri Lanka who has 10,290 runs. While Dilshan scored his runs in 303 innings, Virat took only 210 innings to reach there. Virat is expected to break into the top ten soon as there is no active batsman in that list. 5. Most ODI centuries since 2017

Virat no has most centuries in ODI cricket since 2017. He went past Rohit Sharma to score his 13th century since 2017. Rohit has scored 12 hundred since 2017 in 42 innings the same as Kohli.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma added 54 runs for the second wicket. It means they have 4117 runs together in ODIs. Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid also added 4117 runs together. However, Kohli and Rohit have done it in 30 fewer innings than Tendulkar and Dravid.
