MI vs CSK, Live Cricket Score: Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets to make it to the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019.
Chennai Super Kings had recovered from a horrible start to reach 131 for 4 in the Qualifier 1 match on Tuesday. However, Mumbai Indian easily chased down the target in 18.3 overs with six wickets remaining.
In reply, Mumbai lost the wicket of Rohit Sharma in the first over of the chase. He was trapped LBW by Deepak Chahar for 4. Quinton de Kock (8) was caught by Faf du Plessis at the boundary off Harbhajan Singh.
Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan then added 80 runs for the third wicket. It seemed they were taking Mumbai home easily. Imran Tahir took two wickets in two balls to keep the match alive. He bowled Kishan (28) and then caught & bowled Krunal Pandya (0) as MI finished 14th over at 101/4.
However, Yadav (71*) and Hardik Pandya (13*) took Mumbai over the line.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and decided to bat first. CSK didn't get off to a good start, losing three wickets in the Powerplay. Rahul Chahar struck on the first ball of his spell as Faf du Plessis (6) cut one straight to the fielder at backward point in the third over of the match.
Suresh Raina's (5) attempt to slog Jayant Yadav resulted in a skier which the bowler took with ease. Shane Watson (10) fell going for a big hit off Krunal Pandya, taken brilliantly by Jayant Yadav running backwards from his mid-on position. Murali Vijay attempted to consolidate before being stumped by Quinton de Kock off Rahul Chahar for 26.
MS Dhoni hit the first six of the match in the 14th over lofting Jayant over long-on. He then smashed Lasith Malinga for two huge sixes in the penultimate over to provide impetus to the CSK innings, which was stymied by the MI bowlers, especially the spinners.
Dhoni (37 no off 29 balls) and Ambati Rayudu (42 no off 37 balls) added 66 off 48 balls for the fifth wicket as CSK reached 131 for 4.
