India vs Sri Lanka (IND vs SL): Openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul smashed fluent centuries to help India crush Sri Lanka by seven wickets in their final group match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Headingley on Saturday. Rohit made 103 to become the first player to score five centuries in a single World Cup, while Rahul made 111 to set up India's seventh victory from nine matches which came with 39 balls to spare.

India had already qualified for the semifinals and will finish top of the standings if Australia lose to South Africa in their last group match.

Sri Lanka did not have a good start as they lost captain Dimuth Karunaratne in the fourth over. Jasprit Bumrah then removed Kusal Perera for the second wicket. Ravindra Jadeja, playing for the first time in World Cup 2019, got Kusal Mendis stumped. Avishka Fernando (20) fell to Hardik Pandya as Sri Lanka were reduced to 55 for 4 in 11.4 overs. MS Dhoni was involved in all four dismissals with three catches and one stumping.
Angelo Mathews and Lahiru Thirimanne added 122 runs for the fifth wicket with both batsmen completing their half-centuries. The stand was broken was Kuldeep Yadav who dismissed Thirimanne for 53. Angelo Mathews soon completed his third one-day international century. Bumrah returned to dismiss Mathews for 113. Sri Lanka managed to reach 264 for 7 in their 50 overs.
