Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes died at the age of 25 after being struck by a bouncer while batting for South Australia in a Sheffield Shield match on November 25, 2014, against New South Wales at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Despite wearing a helmet, it did not help much as the ball struck an unprotected area just below his left ear.

Hughes sustained brain haemorrhage and died two days later without regaining consciousness

Today commemorates the fifth-year anniversary of his death and Cricket Australia took to Twitter to pay tribute to the batsman.

Seeing this, Twitterati too poured in their love and wishes for Phillip Hughes as said 'Forever #63notout'.
