Katrina Kaif's vanity van has been co-designed by fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and interior designer Darshini Shah.
Where do celebrities get ready, relax between takes or unwind when they know the shoot is going to go on for hours at a stretch? Well yes, inside their vanity vans. But, have you ever wondered what the inside of vanity vans of A-list celebrities look like?
Well, nothing less than a luxurious place that offers everything matching the preferences and aesthetics of the star to help them chill between takes and relax after they come back from a hectic schedule.
So, while you may still be wondering what an A-list Bollywood star's vanity van looks like, we thought of taking you inside actor Katrina Kaif's understated yet luxurious van that has been co-designed by fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and interior designer Darshini Shah.
The van which was built in 2017, took approximately 2.5 months to build.

Interior designer Darshini Shah, the brains behind the interiors of many celebrity homes including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's new and old home, said Katrina Kaif is the most chill-out person to be with. Talking about Katrina's van, Darshini said, "Katrina Kaif's vanity van has been co-designed by Anaita Shroff Adajania and me. Katrina is the most chilled-out, easy person to be with. She is free-spirited and yet is meticulous when it comes to working. So, we were very keen to give her a space that was both functional and comfortable."

Describing Katrina Kaif's vanity van, Darshini said, "Katrina’s vanity can be defined as a neutral canvas with pops of colour that can instantly lift the mood as you step in."

"It has a luxe bohemian vibe infused with different patterns and styles," Darshini added.

Adding more details about Katrina kaif's vanity van, Darshini said the beautiful tapestries and rugs, hand-painted walls, bright funky wallpaper, and a curio shelf bring in much warmth and fun. "It brightens up the otherwise neutral shell. Her van is rustic, chic, understated yet luxurious," she said.

"Large day bed lounge seating with Bohemian cushions allows her to unwind and relax between the shoots. The layout is clean and functional, so the focus is more on dressing up the walls," said Darshini.

"Unlike homes, vans do not have ample space, so the challenge was to design her van to make it the perfect amalgamation of three key factors- her personality, functionality, and comfort." Darshini Shah said while talking about the key factors she kept in mind while designing the van.
