1.News of Rita Bhaduri's sudden demise left the industry in shock
The actress was reportedly suffering from a serious kidney ailment. She passed away at the age of 62. Anil Kapoor took to his Twitter account to moun her loss. He posted, "#RitaBhaduri was one of the finest actresses that #FTII gave us. I had the honour of working with her in Ghar Ho to Aisa, Beta & Viraasat & I'm really saddened to hear about her passing...She will be dearly missed by her friends, family & fans..."

Rita Bhaduri was seen essaying the role of Suchitra Krishnamoorthi's mother in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Her character Mary Gonsalves, who loves and cares for her family is still fresh in the memory of her fans. She had graduated from FTII in the year 1973.

Anupam Kher took to his Twitter account and wrote, "#RitaBhaduri was affectionate, helpful, jovial, bright and full of life. It is sad and unfortunate that we sum up a person only when he or she is gone. I wish we met more often. We have lost a very fine actress and a brand ambassador/alumni of @FTIIOfficial. Om Shanti."

Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai actress Shubhangi Atre, who plays Angoori Bhabhi in the sitcom is deeply shocked at the sudden demise of Rita Bhaduri. She told and entertainment portal, "I’m really saddened to know about Ritaji. She was a wonderful women, with a bright heart, very practical from the mind and full of positive spirit. Not to forget, she was an amazing actress too. We use to be like a family on the sets. As soon as I came to know about her, memories came in front of me. The time we shared and enjoyed.
