The restaurant with the most value for money food is: Saiba has excellent food – complete value for money.

KAPDA

I shop mostly at: Lots of places, actually. My favourites are W at In Orbit Mall, Fire Walkers, Sanskriti at Fame Adlabs and Pepper Tree in Lokhandwala.

My favourite rasta shopping area is: It was Fashion Street earlier, but now you get better stuff at Santacruz Market, Manish Nagar (Four Bungalows) and Hill Road (Bandra).

My favourite Indian designers are: I’m not much into designer clothing, but I admire the creations of Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Ritu Kumar.

The sale I never miss is: I try and catch all sales if possible!

The most expensive thing I bought is: Since I’m allergic to certain metals, I made a gold watch with ethnic meenakari work. It’s really exquisite and expensive!

The cheapest thing I bought is: Colourful bindis for Rs 10.

The best bargains are available at: Hill Road.

MAKAAN

My favourite area is: Malad, because it’s not too developed and not overcrowded. Also it’s spacious, has great infrastructure and huge malls.

Heritage structures in Mumbai: Are sadly not maintained well. Our government should make more of an effort to preserve them.

The one place that holds fondest memories for me is: Vakola, Santacruz (E), because that is where I was born.

Mumbai’s most aesthetic areas are: Hiranandani Gardens because it’s so well structured and the Raheja building on the back road of Lokhandwala.

Mumbai’s biggest eyesore: The potholes, constant digging, never-ending constructions. Let’s start with decent roads before converting Mumbai into Shanghai!
