My favourite rasta food is: Bade Miyan at Colaba for their baida roti and Khursheed’s near Mithibai College.

My favourite restaurant is: Soul Fry for their yummy tisrias (clams), Gajalee and Mahesh Lunch Home for their tandoori crabs and appams. For Italian food, my favourites are Mangi Ferra and Don Giovanni and for Indian fare, it’s Urban Tadka at Oshiwara.

My favourite nightspot is: I’m such a pub girl and I love retro music. Olive, Hawaiian Shack, Seijo and the Soul Dish and Poly Esthers are some of my favourites.

The most expensive meal I’ve had was at: Indigo at Colaba.

The restaurant with the most value for money food is: Urban Tadka. It has great food which is very well priced.

I shop mostly at:
Mango, Guess and smaller boutiques like Clothes Rack and Cottons, but mostly I’m a Mango girl.

My favourite rasta shopping area is: Linking Road. Believe it or not, I still manage to shop there once in a while!

My favourite Indian designers are: Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani and Nisha Merchant.

The sale I never miss is at: Mango and Aldo.

The most expensive thing I’ve bought is:
My car, a Toyota Corolla.

The cheapest things I’ve bought are:
Kolhapuri chappals.

The best bargains are available at: Clothes Rack. They have great branded export surplus stuff.

MAKAAN

My favourite area is: Oshiwara, where I stay, because I love the noise, buzz and the fact that all my friends stay close by.

Heritage structures in Mumbai: Are lovely, but could do with some more maintenance. CST, Rajabai Tower and the Gateway of India are particularly beautiful.

The one place that holds fondest memories for me is: Chembur, because I grew up there and also did my schooling at Loretto Convent.

The most aesthetic area is: Marine Drive is beautiful and brings back some great college memories.

Mumbai’s biggest eyesore is: The slums and my car that bears the brunt of the pathetic Mumbai roads.
