The Shiv Sena surely has something new pursue against Shah Rukh Khan. This time it is the name of the actor’s bungalow in Bandstand, Bandra.

The party’s contention is that Khan has changed the name of the heritage bungalow.

Sena leader Subhash Desai said that the actor changed the name of the bungalow from Vienna Villa to Mannat. “The property has heritage status and hence it’s name cannot be changed without the permission of the heritage committee. The violation is tolerated just because it is owned by the Bollywood star,” said Desai during a discussion on Mumbai issues in the state assembly.

Questioning the star’s position to violate heritage norms, Desai told the house that as nobody can change the name of Gateway of India, name of any structure with the heritage tag cannot be tampered with.

The actor had purchased the bungalow from Bai Khurshid Bhanu Sanjana Nariman Dubhash for about Rs13.23 crore.
