Gandhi's iconic 241 miles long Dandi march in 1930 against the British salt tax inspired the Swiss pen maker to pay him a tribute through pen which was formally launched on Thursday by Montblanc.
The limited-edition pen, for Gandhi priced at over Rs11 lakhs has an 18-carat solid gold, rhodium-plated nib, and 'a saffron-coloured mandarin garnet' on the clip has now been formally launched and put on sale. The pen is also engraved with Gandhi's image and has a gold thread manually tied in the middle of the pen.
Created as a fountain and a roller ball, pen’s limited edition 3000 incorporates the signatures of its sumptuous counterpart, the Mahatma Gandhi limited edition 241.
