Why Zarina Wahab was absent at Sooraj Pancholi’s big moment

Actress Zarina Wahab was missing from the  launch of her son, Sooraj Pancholi’s debut film Hero trailer launch.

Sighed the saddened mother, “I wanted to be there but I was shooting for an ad. If it was a feature film or  a TV serial, I could have taken two hours off. Ads are shot within cut-to-cut time schedules. And you know what? I’ve no regrets. I want my son to learn to respect his work above everything. If he too is caught in such a situation I’d expect him to choose work over  family.”

Zarina watched the trailer at home. “As soon as we packed up I rushed home to see the trailer. I am very proud of our son. I believe he broke down. He has gone through a lot at such a  young age. But I think he has emerged from the trauma as  a better human being and a fine actor.”
