1993 shook us up long before 9/11

My uncle had some work at the place where the blast took place. Unfortunately, he was present at that moment and was seriously injured. The blast was so powerful that pieces of glass entered his ears and impaired his hearing for almost a year. Till date he shudders at the memory.  — Joginder/Malad

I was a student at that time and  was home that day.  Despite the general panic, things were under control. Salem, the architect of the blasts is now in custody which will bring the other culprits in the open. However, I don't see that affecting Sanjay Dutt's campaign for Priya.
