It's a wine-wine situation!

With the rising number of connoisseurs in the city, wine-tastings have become the most happening events among Puneites lately. Just a few weeks back, we met a famous wine-maker from Australia at a wine launch party, who gave us some interesting tips on how to enjoy sparkling wines. At another degustation dinner session last weekend, we got a chance to enjoy some of the finest selection of award-winning Latin American wines by Sula.

The event took place at La Terazza, Hyatt, where a four course dinner especially designed by Najeshda Deshpande of Sula and the chef was served to the guests. Our first course began with Trapiche Pinot Grigio paired with spicy Gautemala Shrimp and Baby Arugula Poached Pear Salad, which became our instant favourite. The second course consisted of Cono Sur Pinot Noir which was paired with buttery Grilled Sea Bass and cheesy melt-in-the-mouth black rice. For the main course, we were served Single Varietal Malbec which was paried with with Grilled Tenderloin and Parmesan Risotto. The meal concluded with Duo of Coco Banana, a fried banana dessert and cheese cake.
