2. Bill Gates
Microsoft founder Bill Gates started at Harvard as a pre-law major in 1973 but he soon ran through “the university’s most rigorous mathematics and graduate level computer science courses” and then decided to drop out of the Harvard to start Microsoft.
3. Mark Zuckerberg
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg studied psychology and computer science at Harvard and he developed “Thefacebook” while he was in Harvard. Zuckerberg dropped out of the prestigious university to focus on the project.
4. Warren Buffett
Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett enrolled at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as a business major but he went to University of Nebraska–Lincoln where at age 20 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He then earned a Master of Science in economics at Columbia Business School.
5. Larry Page
Google CEO Larry Page earned a Bachelor of Science, with honors, in computer engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Science in computer science from Stanford University. Page was doing PhD from Stanford University when he met fellow PhD candidate and future partner Sergey Brin.
