After noticing six armed men scaling the walls of Hosur's famous Marakathambiga Sundarashwarar temple on the surveillance camera, security guards managed to foil an attempted robbery.
The six robbers had planned on climbing over the temple's wall to get in and steal century-old statues from it.
But after noticing the thieves on camera, the guards chased them down, capturing two of the thieves while the other four escaped.
A case has been registered and search is on for the four men.
