UN Biodiversity Summit India to restore 26mn hectares of deforested land by 2030 says Javadekar

While addressing at the UN Biodiversity Summit on October 01, Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar spoke about land-degradation. Javadekar said 'India aims to restore 26 million hectares of degraded and deforested land, and achieve land-degradation neutrality by 2030.' 'This is a target which shows our ambition,' he added.
