Uma Bharti slams Gandhi family for using ‘Gandhi’ as their surname

Union Minister Uma Bharti slammed tey do not have the 'right to use' the surname. While addressing a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha, she said, “Word 'Gandhi' is not from Mahatma Gandhi but Feroze Gandhi. Feroze was not having good terms with Jawaharlal Nehru, they don't even have the right to use this surname but they thought that it would give them respect. Modi ji is the one following Mahatma Gandhi's footsteps.”
