Amid the fourth phase of nationwide lockdown, taxi services resumed in Delhi from May 19. Taxi drivers in Delhi are happy and welcomed the decision of the government. The nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 31 with more relaxations. While speaking to ANI, some taxi drivers expressed their feelings. “We welcome the government's decision to resume taxi services. Taxis can operate with only 2 passengers at a time in a car,” a taxi driver said. “We welcome and thank the central government and state government’ decision,” another driver said. Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in national capital crossed 10,000-mark.
