Exhibition organised to mark 100 years of Jallianwala Bagh massacre

A unique exhibition was held to remember 100 years completion of Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Punjab’s Amritsar on Wednesday. The exhibition sheds light on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre which took place on April 13, 1919. The exhibition was held at Partition Museum in Amritsar. While speaking to ANI about the exhibition, Mayor of Amritsar Karamjit Singh Rintu said, “This exhibition is portraying the history of Punjab. Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place on April 13, 1919, which has completed 100 years. We are doing centenary commemoration of the same. We are remembering our soldiers and brave hearts on this occasion. Several innocents were killed by General Dyer at Jallianwala Bagh massacre which includes women’s, children’s and even senior citizens. This exhibition is explaining about that cruel incident in detail.”
