Correa played a defining role in developing architecture of post-Independence India and has designed some of the most outstanding structures.

Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon, Protugal was designed by Correa in 2004. It is a research foundation with a mission to develop programmes of advanced biomedical research and provide clinical care of excellence.
