It has been an eventful few days for Telugu star Mahesh Babu. Wrapping up his much talked about film Maharshi, dropping his long-pending project with director Sukumar and then the unexpected collaboration with director Anil Ravipudi have all kept him in focus.
In the midst of it all, the actor shared some exclusive working stills from his next project Maharshi with director Vamshi Paidipally on social media. He took to his Instagram page and shared some behind the scenes images of Maharshi.

Scheduled to release in April earlier, Mahesh Babu's Maharshi is now going to release on May 9 as announced by the film’s producer Dil Raju recently.

“In between shots!! With my most passionate & hardworking team...#Maharshi (sic),” shared Mahesh on Instagram with a series of photos where the film’s team – Vamshi Paidipally, Raju Sundaram, KU Mohanan.
4. Maharshi stars Pooja Hegde opposite Mahesh Babu

Starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the film has an ensemble cast with the likes of Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Sonal Chauhan and Meenaxi Dixit in very key roles. Shot across locations like Dehradun, New York, and Goa, the film apparently explores the struggle of farmers amongst other things.

The project was in discussion since Vamshi Paidipally’s Oopiri impressed Mahesh who was very keen to collaborate with the filmmaker. Almost a year later the collaboration happened after a controversy involving producer Prasad V Potluri.
