'Thuramukham', 'Kurup', 'The Priest', 'Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham', 'Bheemante Vazhi' and 'Malik' are confirmed to release on the big screen.
As soon as the world entered 2021, several new things were announced. In just a couple of days, many Malayalam filmmakers announced the release dates of their film which were set for a 2020 release. Interestingly, one of the most awaited films has opted for an OTT release. Yes, we are talking about Drishyam 2 directed by Jeethu Joseph. The Mohanlal starrer movie is set to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video this year.
Talking about the big-screen release, movies namely Bheemante Vazhi starring Kunchacko Boban, Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup, Fahadh Faasil starrer Malik, Priyadarshan directorial Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham starring Mohanlal, Mammootty's The Priest and Rajeev Ravi film Thuramukham starring Nivin Pauly in the lead role are set to release at theatres.

Bheemante Vazhi stars Kunchacko Boban, Chinnu Chandni and Chemban Vinod Jose in the lead roles. The film is set to be an April 2021 release. Directed by Ashraf Hamza, the movie is produced by Chemban Vinod Jose, Rima Kallingal and Aashiq Abu.
2. 'Kurup'

Dulquer Salmaan starrer Kurup is set to release in 2021. The film also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Sunny Wayne, Shine Tom Chacko and Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead roles. Kurup is directed by Srinathrajendran and produced by Wayfarer Films and M-Star Entertainments.

Fahadh Faasil starrer Malik is set to release on May 13, 2021. The film is directed by Mahesh Narayan and produced by Anto Joseph.
4. 'Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham'

Priyadarshan directorial Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham starring Mohanlal in the titular role finally gets a release date. The film is hitting the screens on March 26, 2021.
5. 'The Priest'

Mammootty is all set to be seen as The Priest and the film is releasing in 2021. The Priest is directed by Jofin T Chacko and produced by Anto Joseph, Unnikrishnan B, V N Babu.
6. 'Thuramukham'

Rajeev Ravi directorial Thuramukham is set to be an Eid release this year. It's hitting the screens on May 13, 2021. The film stars Nivin Pauly in the leading role along with Joju George, Indrajith Sukumaran among others.
