MI vs KKR Live Cricket Score: Mumbai Indians put on a great all-round display as they beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 9 wickets in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 match on Sunday. The win took Mumbai to the top of the IPL 2019 Points Table while Kolkata were knocked out of the tournament. The result also sent Sunrisers Hyderabad to the playoffs.

Mumbai Indians now play Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1 while Delhi Capitals will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.

Mumbai bowlers restricted Kolkata Knight Riders to 133 for 7 in their 20 overs. In reply, Mumbai openers Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma made a cautious start. However, de Kock was dismissed just after powerplay as Dinesh Karthik took a very good catch running back behind the wicket. However, Rohit Sharma (55*) and Suyakumar Yadav (46*) took Mumbai over the line and top of the table.

IPL 2019 MI vs KKR: Scorecard

Mumbai Indians won the toss and invited Kolkata Knight Riders to bat first. Chris Lynn and Shubman Gill gave Kolkata a cautious start before Lynn started going for the big shots. They reached 49 in the powerplay. Gill (9) was trapped LBW by Hardik Pandya in the 7th over. Pandya then got Lynn (41) caught behind in his next over.

KKR need to defeat Mumbai to finish the group stage at fourth spot in the IPL 2019 Points Table. However, MI would like to carry on the winning momentum as 18 points and a better net run-rate than both first placed Chennai Super Kings and third-placed Delhi Capitals will give them two shots at qualifying for the final.

Mumbai Indians: 134 for 1 in 16.1 overs (Rohit Sharma 55 not out, Suryakumar Yadav 46 not out; Prasidh Krishna 1/22)
