Live Cricket Score, KXIP vs RCB, IPL 2019: Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers led the chase for Royal Challengers Bangalore as they beat Kings XI Punjab by 8 wickets in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Saturday. Chasing 174, Kohli and Parthiv Patel started on a positive note and added more than 43 runs for the first wickets in just 3.5 overs. Kohli and AB de Villiers then got together to take RCB ahead in the chase. Kohli was dismissed for 67. AB de Villiers (59*) and Marcus Stoinis (28*) took their team home.

Earlier, Punjab reached 173 thanks to Chris Gayle who missed a century by a whisker, blasting an unbeaten 99 runs off 64 balls to help the hosts amass a challenging score.

Invited to bat, Gayle and KL Rahul gave Kings XI Punjab a flying start. They added 60 runs in the powerplay. Chahal broke the stand as he got Rahul (18) stumped at 66/1 in the 7th over. Chahal also got rid of Mayank Agarwal (15). 

Sarfaraz Khan (15) fell to Siraj, while Sam Curran (1) was sent back by Moeen Ali as RCB got back in the match. Gayle and Mandeep Singh then took RCB past 160. Gayle was on 95 facing the last ball, he hit a boundary and became only the second batsman to remain 99 not out in IPL (the other one is Suresh Raina).
