After Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar, another Mumbai batsman has achieved the rare feet of hitting a one-day double century. Her name is Jemimah Rodrigues.
The young cricketer in the making her presence felt at the national U-19 level in women’s domestic cricket. 16-year old Jemimah Rodrigues is part of Mumbai’s U-19 Women’s cricket team.
Rodrigues, playing a U-19 One Day league match against Saurashtra, hit an unbeaten 202 off just 163 balls on Sunday. Thanks to her double ton, Mumbai posted a huge total of 347/2 in their allotted quota of 50 overs.

According to media reports, Jemimah has two centuries in this tournament now and averages over 300 in the U-19 Super Leagues.
Rodrigues took to the game at a very early age and started out as a bowler before becoming the a top order batswoman.
She also has the distinction of having represented Mumbai at the U-17 level in hockey.
