January 21 marks actor Sushant Singh Rajput's first birth anniversary post his sudden and tragic death last year. 

The 'Chhichhore' star, who won the hearts of the audiences with his performances in both the small and big screen, would have turned 35 on Thursday. But unfortunately, he isn't around to be celebrating this special day with his family and fans which otherwise would have been the case. 

A powerhouse of talent, Sushant's acting career was only getting better one film at a time. From his debut in Kai Po Che! to blockbuster hit like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sushant was being looked at as the next big star in the Hindi film industry. 

However, there were several films that the actor either refused, couldn't accept or was force out of in his career spanning almost 14 years.

Though Sushant had signed the film, due to scheduling conflicts, he was reportedly forced to quit the film. "Unfortunately, I will not be part of Romeo Akbar Walter due to changes in my prior commitments. I wanted to be part of the project because I love the story, and believe it must be told, but, that will not happen," Sushant had told Mid-day.
