Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday morning went to meet his son Aryan, currently lodged in a barrack with other criminals at the Arthur Road Central Jail (ARCJ), after his detention and arrest by the NCB in a drugs case. This was SRK’s first public appearance after his son Aryan’s arrest on October 3. Shah Rukh Khan was accompanied by his manager Pooja Dadlani and personal security guard Ravi. More details are below.

As Shah Rukh Khan arrived at Arthur Raod Jail, the pony-tailed senior Khan sporting dark shades and a black facemask over a grey half-sleeved T-shirt was virtually mobbed by the paparazzi and the hordes of policemen as he entered the menacing barred gates of the ARCJ in the congested south Mumbai. As per jail authorities, the accused were not allowed to have visitors earlier in the wake of the Covid-19 but the restrictions were eased starting today.
2. Shah Rukh Khan met son Aryan for 20 minutes

Shah Rukh Khan was seen leaving the jail premises after a brief meeting of 20 minutes, the maximum time allowed for the visitors. While leaving, with folded hands, Shah Rukh Khan was seen greeting a woman and others who were sitting outside the jail.
3. SRK met son Aryan Khan through a glass wall

In the wake of the COVID-19, the visitors at Arthur Road Jail are restricted from having any physical contact with the inmates and thus, Shah Rukh met son Aryan through a glass wall and talked to him through an intercom.
4. Special court rejected Aryan Khan's bail plea

A special court in Mumbai on Wednesday refused to grant bail to Aryan and two others in connection with the seizure of drugs. Following this, Aryan Khan moved a bail application in the Bombay High Court against the NDPS court order on his bail rejection.
5. Bombay High Court to hear Aryan Khan's bail plea on October 26

The Bombay High Court will hear the bail plea of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan on Tuesday, October 26. As per the latest reports, Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde requested in the court that the bail plea which was rejected by the special NDPS court on October 20, be heard on Friday (October 22) or Monday (October 25). However, the court decided on hearing Aryan's bail plea on Tuesday, October 26.
